Working for Hold Up Displays was an experience that I will never forget. I learned a lot of new things and definitely grew as a designer. I learned a lot about marketing, funnels, SEO, email strategy and campaigns just to name a few things. As a designer I understand the importance of having a catalog of inspiration and references. While working at Hold Up Displays, I had a large file with links and screenshots to some amazing designers and images along with notes explaining what made them great. I continue this practice every day when I find great work online I save it and refer to it when I am working on my own projects.
It is always a good idea to be hands on with the product being sold in order to really see how the product works and looks in person. I had the opportunity to build and assemble a gun wall and I was quickly able to see how high quality the item was and could see how it was made to last. I really enjoyed getting to know everyone on the marketing team and was happy to assist in designing the new and improved website. The family friendly atmosphere made it a very enjoyable place to work and I will never forget the fun celebrations and outings with the team.
